"Businesses and the municipality" Meeting 2

Welcome to the second of five meetings on Improved Business Climate in Sjuhärad. We invite all our eight municipalities to five sessions in 2020 and 2021 where we will work together to improve the business climate throughout the Borås region. The project is financed by growth funds from the Borås region and run by Business Region Borås.

"Businesses and the municipality"

During the session, Thomas Forslin leads us through the session where we have invited lecturers Anders Johnson and Kicki Grunditz Kindvall. We go through local historical entrepreneurs and discuss "Can bureaucrats and entrepreneurs understand each other?" During the session, the lecturers will discuss hospitality. Do attitudes and hospitality affect our meetings? We end the session with a panel discussion consisting of local entrepreneurs and officials.

Thomas Forslin, SKR and Forslinsfabriken

He has led SKR's training program Simplify simply for ten years for 164 municipalities and collaborated with large and small municipalities in all parts of Sweden. Thomas highlights examples that show how crucial the municipalities are for the business climate and how the meeting with the companies controls the municipalities' own future.

Kicki Grunditz Kindvall, The art of hosting
Hosting is the art of making people feel welcome. Kicki Grunditz Kindvall, from the company Värdskapet Sverige, will talk about this.
You will learn what characterizes welcoming people and businesses.
Why it is important and what the challenges are? And the small, small things that make differences for a good reception and business climate.

Who is the day aimed at?

This day is aimed at both relevant officials and politicians in the Borås region. The other four meetings are then aimed solely at officials.
