DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the third of five meetings on Improving the Business Climate in Sjuhärad. We are inviting all eight of our municipalities to five sessions in 2020 and 2021, where we will work together to improve the business climate throughout the Borås region. The project is funded by growth grants from the Borås region and is run by Business Region Borås.\nThird digital meeting, February 10, 8:30–10:30 a.m., 2021\nRegulatory Simplification\nThe theme of this digital session is Regulatory Simplification. We have invited NNR (the Business Regulations Committee) to present its study on municipal regulatory improvements in Sjuhärad. The study examines five areas: food inspections, liquor licenses, building permits, environmentally hazardous activities, and conditions for new business establishment. For each area, the study details processing times and fees and how they vary among the municipalities in Sjuhärad.\nWe have also invited Lars and Helena Ericson, who have owned and operated hotel facilities in a number of municipalities throughout Sweden.\nTheir experience with the varying treatment and attitudes of municipalities toward entrepreneurs has been striking.\nBut businesses and municipalities also face common challenges in creating successful organizations.\nAnd fundamental to all organizations is the need to interact with people in a positive way.\nWe will also invite local officials and politicians to discuss how we can continue working on regulatory reform in Sjuhärad.\nWho is this event for?\nThis event is aimed at both relevant officials and politicians in the Borås region who interact with businesses.\nLocation: digital “live stream” with the opportunity to ask questions.\nTime: 8:30–10:30 a.m.\nWatch the broadcast here:\nhttps://streamcode.se/livestream/201103.html ( https://streamcode.se/livestream/201103.html )\n \nIf you have any questions, please contact Johanna Heleander at 0706-100 682 or johanna.heleander@vargarda.se.\n
