SUMMARY:What is a good business climate, and how do you measure it? Session 1
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the first of five sessions on improving the business climate in Sjuhärad. We invite all eight of our municipalities to five sessions in 2020 and 2021, where we will work together to improve the business climate throughout the Borås region. The project is funded by growth grants from the Borås region and is run by Business Region Borås.\nFirst virtual meeting, November 3, 8:30–10:30 a.m., 2020\n\nWhat constitutes a good business climate, and how is it measured?\nDuring the session, we’ll review two surveys that measure the business climate, customer service, and overall service quality. These are the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise’s survey and ranking, as well as the “Insikt” survey by the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR). What exactly do these surveys measure? How are the results weighted, and is it meaningful to compare municipalities against one another? We’ll conclude the session with a panel discussion featuring officials and politicians from our Sjuhärad municipalities.\nLocation: Digital “live stream” with the opportunity to ask questions.\nTime: 8:30–10:30\nThe purpose of the day?\nResults from various surveys and rankings often generate significant attention and engagement. The purpose of the event is to gain a better understanding of what the various surveys measure, and the goal is to identify useful tools that can be applied in our daily improvement efforts.\nWho is this event aimed at?\nThis event is aimed at relevant politicians in the Borås region.
